Our team, ethos and commitment

Tutors and support staff are made up from a number of talented artists who work full time and as freelancers for our company. We have music production and technology tutors, a dj tutor, a vocal coach and support staff who all have experience and knowledge of working in social and youth work environments. When running weekend workshops we tend use one tutor and two support staff.

We have been working along side various organisations developing and delivering a wide variety of bespoke training programmes and projects for young people and adults.

These organisations include Croydon Peoples Housing Association, Croydon and Staffordshire Councils to name but a few. Our expertise and commitment as both professional music tutors and as experienced youth workers gives us an advantage when delivering the type of projects listed.

We are currently in the process of accrediting our programmes by EDEXCEL in order to offer young people a BTEC qualification in music production. We assess students by their practical ability and not academic ability that is based on systems such as written examinations.

We are approved training providers by Mackie Designs and Roland UK who are the largest manufactures of studio equipment in the world and are awaiting the computer software giants ‘Steinberg’ Approved Training Centre status.

We have links within the music industry and also provide music business seminars where we draw attention to issues such as contract law, royalties, publishing and negotiating recording contracts we also invite representatives of the musician union to feed their input into the seminars.

Our commitment and goal is to inspire and develop young peoples self esteem, confidence and empower them to be creative by engaging them with some fun yet challenging learning. I hope you find what we do interesting and identify that we can help young people in areas where conventional education can sometimes fail.

Gareth Hunt - Toby's Youth Project

We approached music everything in July to ascertain whether or not they could provide us with music training in addition to a consultancy service.

They devised a 4 day training and recording programme which was held at our venue, the intention being to help young people produce music. They also provided the equipment necessary to facilitate the project.

Their advice was invaluable which enabled us to obtain funding to equip our own recording studio. We look forward to using them again and will have no hesitation in asking them to help with any future projects.
